Shabby Chic Corner

I am working on a shabby chic bedroom for myself. Baby steps! I find myself being drawn to that more casual, vintage and light colors. I found this cute table, already distressed, at an antique store in the Northlake, Texas area.  It just had to come home with me!

I added a antiqued dresser drawer that I also found at that same store and balanced it underneath. Cute! I love this piece! Great storage for magazines, throws, etc.

I reused these covered books from a bridal shower. So easy! Take scrap booking paper or a roll of wrapping paper and wrap books for color and interest. I added a small white pitcher with silk flowers and cute picture frames to finish off the table top.

I cut out a favorite birthday card I got last year for the frame.

To create different levels of interest I added a wood box for height and put one of my favorite lamps on it. Love the crystal look with the brown bow.

Also found this cute wall hanging at Kirklands to go with my theme.

The final look!
